Custom Concentrate Boxes
Custom Boxes for 3ml, 5ml, 7ml, 8ml & 9ml Concentrate Jars
Makerbaus® custom concentrate boxes are designed around common glass concentrate jar footprints, with packaging options for compact 3ml and 5ml-style jars as well as larger 7ml, 8ml, and 9ml-style formats.
Choose from straight tuck end boxes with attached or detached inserts for smaller jar formats, or larger-box configurations including straight tuck end and push-to-slide styles for larger concentrate jars.
Which Concentrate Jar Box Do I Need?
| Box Style | Jar Format | Insert | Goodlook® System |
|---|---|---|---|
| Straight Tuck End + Attached Insert | 3ml & 5ml-style jars | Attached | Goodlook® Mini |
| Straight Tuck End + Detached Insert | 3ml & 5ml-style jars | Detached / removable | Goodlook® Mini |
| Straight Tuck End | 7ml, 8ml & 9ml-style jars | No insert | Goodlook® Classic |
| Push-to-Slide | 7ml, 8ml & 9ml-style jars | No insert | Goodlook® Classic |
Jar and closure dimensions can vary between packaging suppliers, so brands using third-party containers should verify the complete capped-jar dimensions before approving a box for production.
Boxes for 3ml & 5ml-Style Concentrate Jars
Smaller concentrate jars typically benefit from an insert that positions the container inside a larger printed carton. Makerbaus offers two straight tuck end configurations for this packaging footprint.
The attached-insert concentrate box integrates the insert into the box structure, while the detached-insert concentrate box uses a separate removable insert.
Both formats are designed around compact 3ml and 5ml-style concentrate jars, including the Goodlook® Mini 3ml glass concentrate jar.
Boxes for 7ml, 8ml & 9ml-Style Concentrate Jars
Larger concentrate jars can use the same general 46mm × 46mm × 27mm box footprint without the smaller-jar insert.
The Straight Tuck End concentrate box provides a conventional folding-carton format, while the Push-to-Slide concentrate box offers a different opening and presentation style.
These larger formats are designed around common 7ml, 8ml, and 9ml-style concentrate jars, including the Goodlook® Classic 8ml glass concentrate jar.
Custom Printed Paperboard Concentrate Boxes
Current Makerbaus concentrate box formats use paperboard construction and can be configured with custom printing and finishing options. Available options vary by box style and project and may include white or kraft paperboard, laminate choices, spot finishes, and foil decoration.
Individual product pages contain the available production options, minimum quantities, current lead-time information, and downloadable dielines for each box format.
Attached vs. Detached Inserts
Both insert styles are intended to position a smaller jar within the outer carton, but they differ in how the insert is constructed and handled.
- Attached insert – The insert is incorporated into the box structure for a more integrated carton configuration.
- Detached insert – The insert is a separate component that can be removed from the outer box.
The best choice depends on the desired assembly process, presentation, artwork, and packaging workflow rather than SEO terminology or nominal jar volume alone.
Dielines for Custom Concentrate Boxes
Each box format has its own dieline so artwork can be prepared to the correct structural dimensions before production. Use the dieline associated with the specific box configuration rather than assuming different box or insert styles share the same artwork template.
For projects that require artwork or packaging-design support, Makerbaus can also help with dieline setup and production preparation.
Build a Complete Concentrate Packaging System
Makerbaus offers wholesale glass concentrate jars, child-resistant concentrate jar lids, custom concentrate labels, and custom boxes that can be combined into a coordinated packaging system.
For custom box or complete packaging projects, use the Packaging Quote form to send your quantity, desired box format, timeline, and project requirements.
Confirm Fit Before Production
Nominal jar sizes such as 5ml, 7ml, or 9ml do not guarantee identical exterior dimensions between manufacturers. The capped jar, closure, insert, and box should be evaluated together before approving a production run.
This is especially important when using Makerbaus boxes with third-party containers. Verify the physical package and final artwork before moving into production quantities.
